  • – The Institute of Travel & Tourism site provides fantastic careers advice for those looking to get into the industry. The careers map in particular, is an excellent resource, providing a breakdown of the way different careers are interlinked and a progression path dependent on your preferences.

Tourism in London


  • – Site for the Guild of Blue Badge Tourist Guides. Provides information on qualification as a guide, training, upcoming events and lots more.
  • – Site offering a variety of tours of London – including Olympic walks, cycling tours of London’s parks and driver-guided bespoke tours of the things you want to see.

Teach English abroad


  • – Official site of the International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language. Offering information on both membership to the association and sponsorship.
  • – The University of Cambridge’s site for people seeking to attain the Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. Offers information about the course and a list of centres offering the qualification.
  • – Trinity College London’s site for people seeking to become TESOL-accredited. The Trinity Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages is a Level 5 qualification and the Trinity College site offers information about participating centres as well as information about the course itself.
